How we clean Retail Stores
Here is a sample from one of our checklists to show what our team can do for you:
STORE AREAS inc. Fitting rooms (Daily)
Empty waste bins, replace and remove bags to disposal point
Damp wipe outsides of bins as required
Clean all shelves taking care to lift merchandise, clean shelves and return merchandise to its original position
Clean glass display cabinet’s outsides only
Clean glass display cabinet’s insides only on request (normally every two months)
Clean chrome surrounds to display cabinets.
Remove kick marks from cabinet fronts and bases as possible
Remove adhesive residue (caused by removal of security tabs) from shelves using white spirit
Dust/polish furniture, window ledges, skirting and fire extinguishers to normal hand height as accessible including pictures
Clean all glass partitions/doorways mirrors & mirrored wall to staircase, finger and kick plates in store and store entrance.
Vacuum all carpet areas and spot clean marks/stains as necessary
Vacuum soft furnishings as necessary
Vacuum floors
Clean and recondition the leather couches and fine jewellery table
Clean/wash floor areas with appropriate cleaning solution (as supplied by manufacturer)
Spot clean scuff marks and marks on walls as required
Chewing gum to be removed from all floor areas
Clean inside of display windows on request (normally every 6 weeks in line with the window change)
Clean the fine jewellery chandelier on request (normally every two months)
Dust high reach area of mirrored staircase wall (weekly)
ENTRANCES (Daily) inc. outside areas
Sweep and collect litter from paved front entrance
Wash the plant pots and dry to a smear free finish
Spot clean entrance glass doors and door fittings, removing all marks.
Vacuum entrance matting
Wash and dry to a smear free finish “Dior” signs
STAIRS (Daily)
Vacuum / Mop floor areas
Dust / polish banisters, railings and skirtings
Dust / polish fire extinguishers and ledges
Spot clean finger-marks from glass partitions/doorways and walls
BACK OF HOUSE AREAS (STOCKROOMS) (Daily)
Empty waste bins, replace and remove bags to disposal point
Damp wipe outsides of bins as required
Vacuum and mop all hard floors
Dust/polish furniture, window ledges and fire extinguishers as accessible
OFFICE AREAS & MEETING ROOMS & RECEPTION AREA (Daily)
Empty waste bins, including shredding machines, replace and remove bags to disposal point
Damp wipe outsides of bins as required
Damp wipe/dust/polish desks, lamps, under filing trays and sundry desk items as possible
Damp wipe/sanitise telephones in rotation
Damp wipe coffee spillage from walls as possible
Dust/polish furniture, window ledges and fire extinguishers to normal hand height as accessible including pictures
Spot clean fingermarks from glass partitions/doorways/inside windows with special attention to area behind reception desk
Vacuum all carpet/floor areas including under desks and chairs
Mop all hard floor areas
Vacuum soft furnishings as necessary
Spot clean scuff marks and marks on walls & Furniture as required
Collect crockery to kitchen areas
TOILETS Inc Customer Toilets (Daily)
Vacuum and mop floors and empty waste bins
Disinfect toilet bowls Clean/polish hand basins inc. tap fittings
Clean / polish both sides of toilet seats and lids
Clean mirrors
Damp wipe exteriors of pedestals as necessary
Damp wipe splashbacks and tiled walls beneath hand towels once per week
Damp wipe pipework, cisterns and tops of towel cabinets as required
Replenish toilet rolls and soap (rechargeables) from stock
KITCHEN AREAS (Daily)
Load/Unload dishwasher and replace all crockery items to cupboards as possible
Damp wipe outsides of cupboards as necessary
Clean insides of refrigerator
Clean insides of microwave
Clean/polish sink unit and wipe tops of surfaces, ledges and pipework
Empty and damp wipe outsides of bins
Vacuum and mop floor
STAIRS (Daily)
Vacuum and mop floor areas
Dust / polish banisters, railings and skirtings
Dust / polish fire extinguishers and ledges
Spot clean scuff marks and marks on walls
EXTERNAL WINDOW CLEANING
Clean External ground floor display windows (6 times per week)
